God's Country

I like where I live. Why would I live here if I didn't like it?

I like being able to breathe fresh air. I like being able to let my kids run around by themselves without worry. I like picking fresh organic berries for the winter. I like taking care of meat and fish for my family to eat.

I really, really like it here.

That almost made me think about moving back, maybe when the cost of living goes back down we shall return. But for someone without an education its hard to make it by , especially it being the second highest place to live in Alaska. I guess that's why God provided such an emasculate place to subsist. I Love Kotzebues country & I miss home @ times.

I love it there, too. When oh when can I please come "home"?
I am glad that so many people who are lucky enough to live there appreciate their good fortune. It would make me sad to know people lived there who hated it, when people like me would kill (ok, well, not literally, but...ya know) to be ABLE to live there. Maybe someday. Sigh. But probably not. Bigger Sigh.
